Directions to Highdown Cottage | |||||||||
| From the M5 Motorway, exit at Junction 27 and follow the signs for Barnstaple and North Devon. Follow the A361 and when you reach Barnstaple turn left onto the A39. Follow the signs to Bideford and Bude. From Bideford follow the A39 towards Bude. At Clovelly Cross go straight across the roundabout and after less than a quarter of a mile turn right to Hartland. After one mile take the right fork to Hartland Point and Lighthouse. Highdown Cottage sits at the top of the hill on your right after about 3/4 of a mile. There is a large car park between the garden and the field. It takes about an hour to travel between the M5 and Highdown Cottage if you keep to the speed limits! |
