is an intimate and private two-bedroom self-catering holiday cottage adjoining our home Highdown Cottage. Located in a scenic elevated position overlooking paddocks and Hartland farmland with distant views to Bideford Bay.
Bumble Bee Cottage
provides a peaceful and ideal base from where our guests can explore the designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty of the Hartland Peninsula. A wealth of open countryside and public pathways across working farmland to the rugged and spectacular rocky coastline of North West Devon, can all be enjoyed within a short walk from the Cottage.
Facilities
The cottage boasts a ground floor deluxe-bedroom with King-size bed that can be split into two single beds if requested, flat screen TV and an en-suite shower room leading off. There is a fully equipped kitchen for all self-catering needs which incorporates a small table with chairs. The cozy cottage lounge has sofa, luxury furnishings, 42" flat screen TV and wood burner.
The first floor cottage bedroom has a King-size bed, large flat screen TV and an adjoining private shower-room.

Outside there is a private decking terrace area with BBQ, patio table and chairs overlooking Highdown Cottage gardens and the open Hartland countryside with views to Bideford Bay.
Walkers Retreat
The property is set in a total area of 2.6 acres made up of several paddock areas, stables, barns and grazing areas with a dedicated dog exercise paddock for the needs of our canine friends.

The location is perfect for walkers, with or without canine accompaniment and we hope our guests and their dogs enjoy it as much as we do. Our own Golden Retriever certainly does!
